On February 1st, 2025, Slouch Records lit up the night at Permanent Records Roadhouse with a stacked lineup celebrating the release of their inaugural compilation, Permanent Fixtures. Curated by Southtown Vinyl owner Tommy Newman, the compilation showcases exclusive tracks from a lineup of Roadhouse regulars and underground heavy-hitters. This wasn’t just a record release — it was a scene-defining event.

The night kicked off with high energy from El Colmo, followed by the hypnotic chaos of The Other Dante. Babe Ruthless brought their signature fuzzed-out swagger, paving the way for Le Pain to deliver shimmering synth pop with a sharp edge. The room hit max velocity with UGHH, turning the floor into a full-on pit, before OOG BOGO warped minds with their wild, psychedelic groove.

Veteran post-punks The Intelligence headlined the night with a razor-sharp set, bridging decades of outsider sound into one tight blast of sonic defiance.

Behind the decks, DJs Nick At Nite and Mr. Slouch kept the energy swirling between sets, spinning deep cuts and cult bangers that kept the crowd sweating from 6PM until midnight.

Permanent Fixtures features unreleased tracks from the bands above, as well as killer exclusives by Grady Strange, Röd Werk, Sonic Blossoms, Osees, Suburban John, POW!, Self Improvement, and Zig Zags — a true who’s-who of the LA underground and beyond.
If this release party was any indication, Permanent Fixtures isn’t just a comp — it’s a document of the moment. Slouch Records came out swinging.
